The other day i decided I wanted to give my Imperial Guard a tank, unfortunatly the WWII German Tiger tank I bought is far too big. So I decided to turn it into a super heavy, however its only about 1.75x the length of a predator and the same width as a predator with sponsons. Seeing as its smaller then a normal super heavy, I dubbed it a "light" super heavy.

It is currently armed with a main cannon (Custom), pintle mounted multi melta, co-axel grenade launcher, hull mount twinlinked flamer (or two flamers), hull mounted heavy stubber, and a missle (Custom).

I'm horrible at coming up with new rules and details, so please leave comments thoughts and ideas.

And as far as the cannon and missle are concerned, I will think up stats and names for them later on tonight.

And the biggest question, what should i call the tank (Both name AND type)

NOTE: PICTURES WILL BE UP TOMARROW!

May I suggest seeing i you can scrounge up a copy o the Forgeworld rules? What your describing could quite possibly be easily adapted to use the Macharius, Valdor or Malcador rules. That would possibly be the simplest way to use it without arguments.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

I've never even thought about that. How do forgeworld models work though? Cause from my understanding you need to get which everr Imperial Armour book they are in, and even then I read you need to get one of the Imperial Armour Apocalypse books as well. Is that right?

If you want a Tiger I tank for an Imperial Guard army, you'll probably want something in a 1/48th scale. That's what I use for the tanks of the Jagdmacht, and they've gone over pretty well at the FLGS.
