Just the paints used or the technique?
I always used Chaos Black, mixed with Ultramarine Blue for my black power armour highlights. With Skull white to taste for the last few stages.
It looks like they might have used one of their greys to mix the highlight instead of UBlue though. Spacewolf Grey or Fortress Grey.

Yea Shadow Grey is quite blue.
