just got done playing two of the mission from the enduring freedom book . that my buddy picked up for me from the ambush alley crew at Historicon . ( the limted edition fig that came with it is pretty kick ass too ) so i set up tonight to play the too missions for Takur Ghar scenarios 4 and 5 because they take place on the same terrain . had a absolute blast first mission the navy seals tried to recover there fallen commarade who had fallen out of the chopper . under heavy dshk fire from an emplacement on top of the mountain peek they were pinned down pretty bad . and spartic gun fire really ruined their mission . it ended up being a loss for the u. s. the next mission was a differnt story . turn 1 the dshk mg placement was neutralized rite away as well as some more al qaeda troops in the mountains . the rangers quickly got to buisness , engageing enemy every where . no matter what the sneaky enemy troops could muster the ranger laid it down . at the end an air strike was called in to finish off the last squad of enemy . belive it enough al qaeda forces were able still to pull off a tie . but they were completely wiped out . didnt feel like a victory to me . well enjoy the pics !! the new enduring freedom book is awesome . great history , missions ! the ambush alley guys really do there research . great stuff a must have book . can't wait for the next one .

That looks like fun -- we played a game on Sunday as well. The first scenario from the Road to Baghdad book

I am really enjoying FOF, everyone picked it up quite quickly and they really liked the Fog of War cards.

Wow, that looks like one awsome game!!. I just got the rule book for my birthday, and I can't wait to rope some friends into playing it. I am trying to turn a few people from 'GW zombies' into FoF players... =o]

What scale where you playing? 15 or 20mm? I plan on 20mm USMC MEU from elhiem figgies. I really wish you could post a pic of the sniper, its supposted to be amazing. Can't wait to here more.

Have you looked into Tommorows War from AAG? It's comming out in september and it should be a blast. 40k models with decient rules count me in!!

Also can't wait for 'Cold War Gone Hot', I am a child of the 80's and I would love to see the Red Surge try to take out Democratic West Germany.....awsome eh??!!!

btw, I live in BC, and I wish there where more FoF players out this way. =o[*

20mm is the scale to use ! cheap and affordable and easy to paint . i used a lot of plastic ceasar minatures platic soldiers modern u.s. infantry , urban resiters and some other boxs of guys . its like 50 guys in a box for $ 12.00 U.S. i use some metal 20mm to from a company called jihad minatures . but soo im gonna get some elheim figs to , they have great stuff . F O F is real fun and easy to pic up .

Yeah, I cant wait to have my MEU using 20mm elhiem figgies. They are the best looking USMC in 20mm that I have seen. Plus I love working with metal figgies (I have a Sister of Battle army for GW that I am selling off now, but I still love metal figgies).

I hope to get some pics taken when I get my buds into this. =o]
