Sell them.
Keep them on the shelf until you want to go back to them
keep alternating between armies all the time so you dont get bored
Put them in a box and forget about them
I only own 1 army anyway

Recently I sold my Lizardmen army.
Had been in a motor pool army transport in my garage for over 5 years. Fantasy was never realy my thing...
They payed for a lot of Ork stuff.....

My 40K army's I keep mostly. I sold a Tau army years ago. But my old Necrons (5/6000P), and my first army, Space marines (6000+P) I keep.
Nid's (5000+P) also stay, they get used in Appocalipse battles once or twice a year at my club. Sometime's I even play them.
Orks is mainly building and painting for me right now. Hopefully I get a few battles played this winter, now I can field a legal army list....

As some others mention here, it's cyclic. That's how it works for me to....
