Hi, i recently got into Imperial Guard and opened my first LRBT box today and quickly built it up. I don't know that i'll ever use the nova cannon but i'd like to able to swap out the turrets so i came up with this quick and easy guide.

The materials you will need are as follows

Magnets
Strong Super Glue
Green Stuff
Drill
Modelling tool of some sorts!

Now for the steps!
Step One

Pop your magnet, i would recommend 2mmx1mm, in the wee slot as shown in the picture with a dollop of super glue.

Step Two

Green stuff the surrounding area to ensure your magnet is secure.

Step Three

Trim off the edge of the turret weapon that would normally slot into where we placed the first magnet. Drill with your hobby drill, insert super glue into the hole and then insert your magnet, making sure to keep it orientated correctly so as to not have opposites etc etc

Step Four

Clean up any green stuff with a file to ensure a good fit, glue down your main turret and enjoy the slottability of all of the turret variants!

I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy tutorial. Please feel free to leave any comment and critique below!

Enjoy your magnetised leman russ turrets!

I use two magnets and two nail heads.

*Put the magnets on the nail heads, place the heads where you are going to put them in the upper turret and mark off with a sharpie where you want to cut off the nails.

*Test fit before gluing and file down as needed.

*I used a dremel tool & a vice to cut the nails.

*I then super glue the magnets in place.

*When dry, I place the nail heads onto the magnets and apply two part epoxy to the nail tips and where they attach to the upper hull (roughly sand the contact point on the plastic so the epoxy gets a better grip).

*Place two turret parts together with the upper turret part facing down, place weight (but not too much) ontop and let sit for listed dry time for the epoxy.

Fits like a glove, just don't use too powerful a magnet. -edit- This method allows the entire turret to be taken apart so you can also swap out tank commanders and guns. Also note that the Demolisher Russ has a different shaped turret and only uses one "gun mount" (like main gun and Vanquisher gun) for all the guns so the above method is not as useful.
