Like the title says. I stopped around late 08. Mainly due to "cut backs" at my job then being "laid off" in 09. Then "jumping thru hoops" for unemployment to send me back to school & going from job to job. Now I finaly have one that is starting to pay the bills. So I thought I might try this again in between my daughters' sports & taking care of my 2yr old boy. I've played TAU since the begining, but thinking about Guard or DE, and haven't seen the new codexes yet. Any thoughts or opinions? Can Guard still use rough riders? Thanks.

Well, the guard are a very good and versatile option, especially with new models such as the valkyrie offering air cavalry possibilities. The rough riders, though not used very often, can still be used, and I always enjoy seeing them since they offer diversity to the never-ending line of armour that is so common (Yet effective) these days.

thanks Will. I'll have to look into that. I did start a small guard project before I got out of this w/making motocycles for them & using the carapas armor option when IG still used "Doctrins"
