I am new to Tomb Kings, please help me with this army. I would love any C&C.
Heroes
Tomb Prince: (144)
-dragonhelm
-amulet of fortune
-great weapon
Liche Priest: (117)
-skeletal steed

Core
39 Skeleton Warriors: (205)
-light armour
-standard
9 Skeleton Horsemen: (126)

(Liche priest hides behind and casts. Pops into unit if danger near)

(should I split this up into two units of 3?)

So what do you think? Is this a decent list? Where should I improve or just discuss tactics with this army. Please comment.

You could replace the light armour on the skelenton warriors with spears as they are going to die quite easily anyway it would be better if you put the liche preist in a unit to make sure he doesn't get accidentally killed as he is your heirophant

well the only problem with that is they are in a 4 by 10 formation (horde) and as soon as any die I lose their attacks. And light armour double the chance of them surviving PLUS they get a 6+ parry save. This makes them survivable witha decent amount of attacks. And also do you think carrion are good anti warmachine/wizard and decent at rear charging? Finally, are horsedmen better than horsemen archers? e.g as a bunker unit.

As the skelenton warriors are such low points their survivability doesn't matter as much make the skelenton horsmen archers as then you can hide the liche preist in their safely and the carrion could be very good at picking of your enemies warmachines and wizards

Why is the lich priest mounted? Put him in a unit of 20 archers, hide them behind cover and just shoot at BS 2 all the time.
Drop the skeleton horsemen, will die like flies to magic missles or crossbows.
There is no point running skeletons in horde formation. Run them 5 wide, drop the light armor, use the points for MORE warriors. Split chariots into two units of 3, use them to flank charge anything that gets stuck in with the skeletons.
You need a hammer with an anvil or you just get a unit stuck in forever with your skeletons slowly chipping it away.

Thanks for the advice, here is my new modified army list: Heroes Tomb Prince(144) -dragonhelm -talisman of fortune -great weapon Liche priest: (105) -Lv2 Core 30 Skeleton warriors:(130) (ranked 5 by 6) 29 Skeleton warriors:(126) (") 3 Chariots:(165) 3 Chariots:(165) 19 archers:(114) Special 3 Carrion:(72) Total: 1001pts So there are two hammer and anvils, shooting and anti-warmachine. What do you think?

Looks a lot better, not sure how effective the tomb prince is though, or whether 2 units of infantry is better than one large block. With one large block you can use it to deny rank and steadfast(also easier to buff), but some people like two medium sized infantry blocks and use one to help flank.

Well, I have played a battle with my new tomb kings list against brettonians. On the first turn, my wizard IF and blew a huge hole in my first unit of skeletons. The carrion did better than I expected, flanking a knight unit and killing 2. 1 unit of chariots failed charge by half and inch and then got charged by Knights Errant. They actually managed to hang on for a while, until my other unit of skeletons flank charged to the rescue. My and his general fought in a challenge and my tomb prince should have killed him except he passed 3 5+ saves. I think my army worked well, and would have won but to bad luck. Oh well, always next time...expecially if you are undead.

Cool, that doesn't have as many models as I thought a Tomb Kings Army should have but if it works, then cool beans. I like it. One question...why are you posting it on my thread? No offense but is there a good reason?
