It might be obvious but I thought I would ask?
During a recent game I had a unit engaged with a war machine, during the magic phase Pit of Shades scattered onto the war machine killing it outright leaving my unit without opposition.
Can I reform, overrun or is my unit stuck facing the empty space?

I think you selected the wrong forum. This should be in Fantasy YMDC I believe.

Assuming you charged you may be able to overrun, would need to check the wording though - if it requires you to have wiped them out in combat then you couldnt overrun, if it is just a blanket "no enemy left at end of combat on turn you charged" check then you would be able to overrun or combat reform

Next time ask a mod to move your thread rather than make a new one because they'll do it eventually anyway.

I'm away from home, so don't have all the FAQ PDFs, but I'm 99% sure that you may execute an overrun (if you charged this turn) or combat reform, and that it is performed at the beginning of the combat phase. Automatically Appended Next Post: Whoop, ninja'd in the duplicate thread!

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”

Zeke is right, you would execute an overrun move.
Pg 58: If a unit charged into close combat and, by the end of that round of combat, all enemies have been wiped out as a result of the combat (rather than pursuit) the unit can choose to make a pursuit move, even with nobody left...

As pointed out in the other thread, its the FAQ that allows you to overrun not the BRB quote.
The BRB mentions that you can perform an overrun if all enemies have been wiped out as a result of the combat. The FAQ clears this up and just blankets it with if you charge, and no enemies are left that phase, you may overrun.
I realize posting the FAQ is redundant considering its in the other thread, but I just wanted to make sure if anyone came across this thread they would quote the FAQ instead of the BRB.
