Hi all, I am going to be converting my fortress of redemption.

So far, I have 2 ideas:

1. Copied from my FLGS, they have extended the fortress with a lower level using the ground floor walls of a couple of bastions making it absolutely awesome. I will get pics if my camera starts taking pics without being plugged in again. When I do this, it will be removable (not glued) as will all the sections of the fortress.

2. My idea, a lovely garden with a lovely wooden fence and trees and a space marine statue for the other side, with the twist being that it's been damaged a lot through gunfire and explosions; I've already got the statue and will use balsa wood for the fence and have got everything I need. I'll do the damage on the fence and stuff, then there's going to be aegis defence line around the fence where the men needed some real cover. I may do a second version of this that's not damaged. It will all be attached to a separate base (except the aegis defence line) which can then be removed or attached to the fortress.

So, has anyone else got any ideas? I'm especially looking at attachments that don't need to be glued on and could also be used elsewhere as a separate terrain piece.

Also, once I've started work, expect things to go slowly as I don't have that much money to spare on terrain and until my 'nids are up to 1500pts I'm gonna be barely working on it at all.

I play:
Imperial Fists - 9000 pts
Tyranids - 1500 pts

GENERATION 9: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.
