I've decided to start up an Imperial Guard army. I am going with Catachans because I want to do a heavy jungle camo theme. Here is a shot of my first model. It is done except for the guns - they are in the mail.



I'm working on a chimera right now and will then start on a box of dudes. I'm needing ideas on how to base the guys to make it look like they are in thick jungle.

I like it!. Your camo pattern looks great, very convincing colours. The engines look a bit 'stuck on' right now, but if the guns and 'feet' are getting painted the same black colour It should all tie in nicely.

VERY nice! Use aquarium plants on the base to make it look like thick jungle brush.

These models have been really fun to paint. i have one more Chimera assembled and then once it is painted it is time to start on some of the dudes.
