Subject: Ultramarines and Aurora Chapter main paint colors from GW brand?

I don't have the luxury of looking at a Space Marine box for a little while, and I was hoping someone could tell me what specific Games Workshop paints were used for the Ultramarines Blue and the Aurora Chapter green. I know it's wierd to ask something so simply, but I'm having a hard time figuring out which is which... the greens and blues in the GW line have relatively light shade differences.

i believe that the aurora chapter are snot green. you know about these, right? the shoulder pads gw now does for them:
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?prodId=prod1570001&_requestid=246348
with reference to the ultras, yes, ultramarine blue. most people use it as a base or wash it or highlight from a darker colour etc. you'll find a path.

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

Since I posted last night I've heard "black base with regal blue" coat, or "mordian blue with ultramarine blue highlight" or any mix of those colors. Of course... I had totally forgot about Ultramarine blue. I wish there was a way I could compare the hues.
As far as Aurora Chapter, I tried snot green, and it's just too dark. I think I may have to go a shade or two lighter... goblin green, perhaps.

I'd go for the Mordian Blue with Ultramarine blue highlights if you're after Ultras. The regal over black is a bit too dark and more fitting to chapters like Crimson Fists. As for Aurora I agree with goblin green (with scorpion green highlights maybe), snot green is used for the Salamanders currently.
If you look up the Ultramarines, the older brighter scheme used ultramarine blue as the main colour. The newer darker scheme they use barely uses it at all.

If you go on to the gamesworkshop website and look at the paints they give a small test colour print to show. You can get a general idea of which are darker/lighter etc but its not great till you get the pot and see

I already mentioned this in your Ultramarines thread but I'll repeat it:
Mordian Blue with Ultramarines Blue highlights and an Asurmen Blue wash looks good.
GW has a tutorial that involved a lot of mixed paints here:

Here are some awesome Ultramarines I found from another poster on SomethingAwful:
These are a black undercoat, two layers of Ultramarines Blue, a Badab Black wash, and a highlight of Space Wolves Grey mixed with Ultramarines Blue. This is the best looking option in my opinion.
