Hey people. I have an army list and I would like to share it and get other peoples opinions.
I play eldar, and my army is a fast moving army.

1 Autarch on jetbike w/mandiblasers, power weapon, and a fusion gun : 130pts
24 Gaurdian Jetbikes (4 squads of 6 bikes) : 528pts
20 dire avengers (2 squads of 10) Exarch has power weapon and shimmershield. It has the Bladestorm and Defend exarch powers : 297pts
2 Wave Serpents 1 w/twin-linked bright lances and other with twin linked scatter lasers, both have vectored engines, star engines, and spirit stones : 360
2 Fire prisms w/shuriken cannon, vectored engines, holo-fields, and spirit stones : 380
1 Night Spinner w/shuriken cannon, vectored engines, holo-fields, and spirit stones : 190

This is 1885 points, any suggestions on how to get it to 2000 would be nice. And some suggestions about the list would be awesome!

I like the theme, but there are a few things you could drop off your list to give you more points. For instance, defend I rarely ever use. Its useful, but if you have to use it, you are already too close to your enemy, or you didn't do your job properly in killing them.

Also, I see no reason in using the shuriken cannons on the prisms or night spinner. If you move you can't use it. Its not a "defensive weapon" so its pointless. If you are sitting still with your prisms, then why even bother taking vectored engines? I feel like the holo-fields and spirit stones are good enough on the heavy support vehicles.

I would look at getting a few units of shinning spears and converting them over to seer councils on bikes to keep with your theme of fast moving saim-hann style. thats just my two cents though.

All in all, it looks good though.

You didn't get your points right on your Dire Avengers. I think the way you have them they should be 354(not sure). I recommend that you make them:

I also have no idea why you put EVERY upgrade on your tanks, its simply not needed. For Dire Avengers the ONLY upgrade you need to possible put on the tank is star engines. Dire Avengers have an 18" range with their weapons. I use them every game and trust me, you don't need star engines or vectored engines to get in range.

I would also recommend dropping the shuriken cannon and vectored engines on your fire prisms and night spinner. Holo-fields and Spirit Stones IMO aren't needed either but I know some people like them.

The Autarch looks like a good choice on paper because he's cheap and has several power weapon attacks but in game, they don't do very much at all. If you still want to keep up with your Saim-Hann style then I recommend putting 2 farseers on bikes or 1 with your Dire Avengers and a seer council, or just 2 with your dire avengers. They are definitely the best HQ choice for the Eldar.

With any extra points you have I would invest in Fire Drgaons in wave serpents. They are definitely one of the best Eldar units. 5 - 7 of them will kill any tank in the game or take out almost any HQ unit you need. If you need some more points I would downgrade your brightlances on your serpents to shuriken cannons or scatter lasers.

I know its alot of changes but Eldar units are already expensive and adding too many upgrades you're just shooting yourself in the foot.

I think that he is taking star engines and vectored engines to be able to contest late game objectives/tankshock troops off an objective. Also vectored engines to prevent the said vehicle from being destoyed if it does get immoblized when contesting and the shurican cannons for the prisms could be there to keep the vehicle shooting if it loses its turret... With that said I agree that you should'nt run all the upgrades with every tank. Also agree that running farseers in your army will def be the optimum choice as well being a force multiplier which eldar need ! And in this point level either two or eldrad IMO are manditory. If you do want to run the upgrades beside spirit stones you should run them on just your scoring troops or a farseers transport. If you are trying to run a saim hann list I would suggest running a seer council too but with all the psyker hate out right now( mindstrike missles, rune priests, casket of maeldiciton come to mind ) its hard for me at least to be totally confiidant with taking them anymore ymmv. Check out Fritz Way of Saim Hann on youtube for some awesome saim hann tactics he also has a pdf on how to play them ...

Thanks for the suggestions guys! Right now I'm just buying the jetbikes one at a time, I only have 4 right now. I really need to get a job. SO it's gonna take a while. But all that time will give me time to prepare. My friend plays tau and is an ass, so that's why I really need a fast army, because fast army=awesome cobver saves against tau guns

I don't think a seer council would be that bad, all of the powers the warlocks have don't require rolling, they are passive. Also you might want to try looking for the jetbikes on ebay or something. Much cheaper than buying them from GW one at a time.

I would suggest trying to find a lot of bikes on ebay, paying 15$ per model is crazy expensive.

You also might be able to find full boxes of shinning spears on ebay unopened for about $20bucks. i hate ebay sometimes, but i enjoy saving money...
