So...this is one of the bigger stretches i've ever done but i feel with logic it could make sense.

I'm planning on doing a Wolf lord Northmen themed Ogre Army, kind of chaosy but not devoted to a particular god. Think Undivided Chaos meets Marvel Asgardians (drawn by Oliver Coipel in the JMS run....nerd alert ).

Anywho...given the Scandinavian Norse theme im planning on possibly replacing gnoblars with converted dwarf models to bring it along with the Tomte folklore. I think these would work if i armed them with xbows for their sharp stuff rule.

My question is though I think it would be awesome to use wolves for my trappers, being that they are skirmishing scouts i really like the idea. However, if i played you with this army would you cry cheese if i explained my "trapper wolves' (for lack of a better term) sharp stuff as a sort of hit and run maneuver? Is it also a problem that i have two district models representing the same base unit type?

I generally play as pretty themed out armies so i have a pretty good way of explaining things and usually people are pretty are cool about it. This however i could see potentially being an issue as usually i have even the heavy themed units as WYSIWYG.

Thoughts?

Using dwarves as gnoblars shouldn't be a problem as long as you equip them like gnoblars. Otherwise, as long as you use the rules correctly and the models are obvious for what they are, I don't think there will be a problem.

Excellent thanks guy, i know there's always TFG but i wanted to make sure at least a good portion of people wouldn't take issue.
