This is probably a really dumb question but how do i post pictures in forums (not the gallery) ? I can only seem to make them attachments, thanks in advance

Post them in the gallery, then go into your gallery, view your uploaded images, click the image, and then on the bottom right there are hyperlinks, copy and paste the one called "forums" into whatever you're posting, and it'll display the image

Essentially, you need to wrap the URL in {img}{/img} tags (but use square brackets, not curly braces).
Getting the URL is an exercise left to the reader, but targetawg has good advice... The Dakka galleries will do it fro you.

On any message board that has image tags enables, simply upload via certain websites like cubeupload.com filesmelt.com. Then copy the link they give you onto your message in . This website is nice enough to have its own gallery you can upload wargaming images into.
