What colour would a Grey Knight Techmarine have on his armour? I'd assume that he'd be the same colour as everyone else, seeing as the Librarians don't bother painting their armour blue, but would he have a red shoulderpad or something to represent his ties to the AdMech?

He would probably be red armor with a silver GK shoulder pad.

Umm.... do they actually have Techmarines. I would think that they would just have a team of Techpriests and Artificers. Although if they did i don't know whether they would follow the Codex.

Yes, they do have Techmarines. they even have a repair psychic power.

The techmarines are psychic too? That pretty cool!

Every GK is psychic.

I'd say red. Techmarine fluff says that they always paint their armour red and leave one shoulder the normal colour.

I don't have my codex on me, but i'm pretty sure their is a color picture of a techmarine in it.

There are no colored pictures of Techmarines in the current Grey Knights codex.

There is no mention in the Grey Knight codex what color their armor is.

There are a few pictures of Techmarine servitors, but no tech marines.

There are a few pictures of the gunners on land raiders and the gunner in the storm raven. Neither has red armor (it's silver).

I hope that helps. I can't see how it would, though.

On the GW product page for the GKs, they have a Techmarine picture of the scheme.

A Techmarine can also be home chapter colours with just a Pad of Ad Mech, vide theo ther TechMarine on the Gw site, the one with the retinue.

Agree with this.

You can go either way, chapter color armor with the red shoulder pad or vice versa. Chapter color armor seems to be more popular lately.

That is simply a picture of a regular techmarine from the SM codexes. It's like how the dreadnought is still blue. They probably don't paint t-marine armor like they don't with any other GK armor, except for a few parts maybe. We don't have proof they do, but we don't have proof they don't other than that everyone else doesn't.

Also says libbies are blue but the GK libby is all grey.

I find that quite boring.
I painted my apotechary with a white/red helmet to show he is an apotechary and stand out some (grey armour though)

And I´m thnking of painting the techmarine all grey but for the:
1: helmet being red
2: pad rims being red with sculpted gold letters inside the rims
3: pad rims being grey but the inside of the pads being red.

What (1, 2, 3) would you think will look the best?
