I keep getting a problem when the original skin keeps just... Dying I guess is the best word. It basically just doesn't seem to load properly, just remaining white, with the titles and sigs all over the place.

Only fix I have had is clearing my cache, but it's a bit of a ball-ache as I seem to have to remove all of my passwords, too (and I have a lot of passwords to remember). Either that or changing to one of the less awesome skins. I prefer the original.

Help? Fixes (other than 'Keep resetting your cache')?

This is on Chrome btw.

You're definitely not accidentally switching into the 'Print Friendly' (or some other) different theme are you?

Nope, definetly in Grey/Gold.

I get that sometimes, just clearing the cookies and refreshing Dakka seems to fix it. No need to wipe everything including the passwords.

I have to seem to delete everything, and even then it doesn't always correct itself. I'm not sure the reasoning behind it.

Looks like a problem with the stylesheet not getting loaded. It could be a lot of different things. Is your Internet or wireless connection of high quality, or does it drop out quite a lot? Dropping out would cause that appearance.

What exact version of chrome are you using?

I use two connections. One does drop a lot, but I still get this on the solid connection, too (which never drops out).

Currently using version 12.0.742.122 of Chrome. Or, that's what the "About" says.

Also, like Klimino says, it only seems to happen with Dakka (and like I said before, on the Classic Grey/Gold skin), not other forums or the other skins.

What do you think I did when I entered a thread called skin problems and read " the original skin keeps dying"

Yeah. I freaked.
