I recently converted and painted this deamon prince for a monsters painting comp.





And i wanted to make a small army to go with him. (since im used to painting darker models like my nurgle)
The general theme i wanted for the army was that it would be a small yet powerful strike force sent ahead of the main army to intercept and destroy scouting forces.

Daemon prince looks sweet. Liking the list to, I would however drop the twin claws on the raptors champion for a power weapon so you can have points for another melta.

Is there a chance we might see the rest of the army? =)

i was considering doing exactly that with the raptors... i love meltas... i have plenty of them in all my marine armies (chaos and imperial alike lol) however this list wasnt written so i could make an army that looked sick.... and i wanna challenge myself with conversions so ill probaby stick with the lightning claws (im convering my raptors from sanguinary guard...extensivley converted so its gunna be a challenge lol)

Cool thx for the link man lookin forward to seein the rest of the army. Those sanguinary guard will make sick looking raptors to man I used a kit myself for raptors =)

haha legendary.... the main issue im gunna have is cleaning them all up properly so theres not too much embelishment on them... coz with the scheme im doing... i just want to have really clean models

The base (black thing it stands on) is to small for a deamon prince O_o

I had no idea the thing that it stands on was called a base, thanks for telling me!

and no it isnt too small, when the new plastic deamon prince came out< they gave it a bigger base, but it is perfectly acceptable to use a 40mm base for a deamon prince.

No need for sarcasm, i was unsure it was called a base soo i made another explanation to be sure..

If you have two lash HQs, better take some blast weapons to benefit from them.

Blast weapons are one use from Lash. Another is to spread the unit along a line before assualting it so not every model would be able to partake in combat.

I,ve replaces the sorcerer with another deamon prince... this one without wings
in 1000 points...2 deamon princes with lash is going to be very annoying for the enemy.... plus it gives me a chance to do a deamon prince with a trygon tail conversion that ive wanted to do for a while... wanna get the four arms going... kinda like fulgrims deamon form
