Hi there,

I've noticed when viewing these forums via my iPhone that the avatars do not load, now i'm not sure if this is a problem with Safari (I use Firefox at home) or the fact it's being viewed on a mobile. It is making the forums very hard to navigate as I usually use someone's (or my own) avatar as a "bookmark" for where I was last reading in a thread, plus it's easier to identify someone by their av.

Anyone else noticed this?

Cheers.

It is the mobile, to make pages load much faster. You can re-enable it by using the switch theme link to change to the basic black/gold theme.

It's already in that mode. You don't need to put it in mobile mode for an iPhone.

Can anyone with Safari as a browser see if it is affected like this on their comp?

Anything with less than 801 pixels width goes to mobile mode by default which looks the same as normal but has no avatars and different buttons. Switch theme manually to the first theme in the list to restore. If you have done that, then mobile mode is overriding due to some cookie oddness. Safari works fine with Dakka.

I've just had a play around. The mobile mode is deceptively the same as the grey and gold one (except no avatars etc.), so I thought something was up.

Looks like I just got a bouquet of Whoopsie-daisies!
