Hey y'all! Me and a few friends recently decided to start playing necromunda. The only problem being none of us had any models to play with! Now my friends have bought their official models from either GW or ebay and are pretty raring to go but I haven't got squat! To make matters worse I'm skint and not very talented modeling wise.

So I've made a scavvie gang (My friends have Goliath, Escher and Van Saar) out of whatever bitz I could find and this here blog is to encourage/force me to keep up with them! Due to work hours I can only manage about one model a day or two But I do have some already made! They are all still very WIP (Its amazing how many mould lines appear at the upload image screen!) but without further rambling I present....

DAVES SCUMBAGS

Billy Bob (Ganger)
Billy Bob is a lover of the finer things in life, such as drinking cans of Super Grog before 10am and kicking peoples heads in! Dave lured him away from giant rat herding to a life of crime with promises of regular payment of mould cider and the chance to get into plenty of fights. Billy Bob was only too happy to accept!

Dynamite Dom (Ganger)
It takes a idiot to go exploring the deeper areas of the underhive looking for treasure. Cave-ins, ghouls, winding tunnels and dead ends all lead would be prospectors to their deaths. It takes a really special idiot to use homemade dynamite to blast through those dead ends! Dom is such a man! However he has recently taken to using his home brewed explosives to blowing the hell outta vault doors, rival gangs and occasionally his mates! Much more profitable than mining for treasure Dave tells him!

Simple Pete (Heavy)
Poor Simple Pete. When it comes to the inner workings of machines he sure does know his stuff. However when it comes to...well to be honest everything else, he's as dumb as a sack of hammers! To top it all off he's a mutant with half his body stronger than the meanest Goliath and the other weaker than a Grot. After refusing one too many times to shakes hands with anything other than his "good hand" he was cast out and left to age alone in the wastes. However Dave knows its good to have a strong arm on your side (even if it is only the one!)

Preacher (Ganger)
Daves met plenty of mutants in his time, however none quite as odd as the Preacher. Its not his extra arm and strange face that does it though. No sir, it's his beliefs. Now not many mutants are that religious (Emperor knows them Cawdor nutters keep telling them thats why they're so mutated!), but the the preacher is all about faith! Its always worship this, cult that, brotherhood these. Dave and the other gang members don't listen to him, but its always unwise to turn down the extra gun! However they do try to keep him away from the younger juves...

Old Timer (Juve)
Despite rambling on and on and on at anybody that will listen about "the good 'ol days" and "back in Tyrnaam" nobody has bothered to find out this old gits name or much else about him! After all what use is a old man that's missing a leg, arm and has a prosthetic hand? Even despite (highly dubious!) claims of being a war veteran. Dave knows better though. Dave knows nothing says "get off my lawn!" like an automatic weapon!

Whatshisface (Juve)
A down and out mutant with no hope in life and no money, drinking away his worries at the local bar. Completely smashed he finally cannot afford another glass of grox ale. A kind stranger buys him a drink and strikes up a conversation. As the night goes on he got drunker and drunker as the guy buys him more and more beers. The next morning he wakes up with the hangover of a lifetime only to find out he's signed up to fight in Dave's gang and also owes him a fortune in bar tabs! He'll soon learn the ropes and maybe they'll learn his name!

That's it for now! Overall I'm trying for a hill billy kind of theme for these guys so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! There are still four more guys to make before I can start playing (along with any future juves and gangers I might hire). 2 Gangers with shotguns, a bounty hunter and the ever elusive Dave!

Also if anybody has any tips for playing Necromunda I would humbley like to learn! (Its my first time) Here's my gang list for starters! It uses the House Delaque rules (I have the scavvie rules but as its our first time we're keeping things simple )
