Hey guys, i'm in the middle of a local 1500 pts tournament here. Just had my first game past tuesday vs orks and barely won i pretty much destroyed his army xcept for 2 killa kans and 16 lootas on turn 4, well, he got some crazy luck on the dice and at the end of turn 7 the game finally ended leaving me in combat with only 2 plague marines and 1 oblie vs the kan and 8 lootas. Won due to victory points still i was really scared that 2 damn lootas could survive and almost take me out of the tournament.

So, my next game is tomorrow vs a BA list, all i know is that it has a LR on it, and as all BA i've seen i guess some of those FC & FnP aura dudes.

Here is the topic: What are the common thing i may face vs BA and how could i handle them with my list?

My list is as follows:

2 DPs, MoN, MoT, 2xwings, 2xWT, WoC

8 Plague Marines, PF, combimelta, 2x plasmas
9 Berzerkers, PF
2x Rhino, 2xcombimeltas

3 oblies

1 2xCCW Defiler
1 RA/Havoc Defiler (i know it should have been 2xCCW but its an old model and WYSIWYG tourney)

Well, the list seems fine.
You need to play defensely and let the BA come at your terms.
I'd try to take down the LR first.
Your HS units have weapons that negate FnP, take advantage of it.

Yah, i was thinking the same way i did vs orks, get a corner with cover, try to take down the tanks with oblies and shoot templates around. However on target priority i'm a lil confused. What of those nasty flamer preds? If he fields one should i shoot that one down first, or is a charge of whatever is inside the LR deadlier, if some termines are in there is gonna be nasty with FnP and FC.

Flamer Preds? I guess you mean Baal Predators. They can have sponsons' heavy flamers (instead of heavy bolters).
The LR with a Termie payload is deadlier as against heavy flamer your Marines will have an armor save.
In cc you'll need to kill the Sang. Priests first.
This is possible as these guys are ICs and so can be singled out.

Mmm i remember some flamers that were AP3 on a BA army, maybe the other guy was cheating with it lol

Yeah he possibly meant the flamer cannons of the lr redeemer, they are ap3. Ouch!

Flamestorm Cannons are st 6 ap 3 i think you mean these one. They can be found on LRR and Baal's Preds.
