Hello everyone, my name is Dave, and I have created my own Imperial Guard army - The Baal 72nd "Blackshells". Formed from men from the Baal PDF, the 72nd actually accompanies the Blood Angels, serving as support to the Astartes, protecting supply lines etc. Their combat methods are modelled on the Blood Angels, and as such they are one of the most fearsome close-quarters combat regiments in the Imperium. I am in the process of creating the regiments premier company, Azkaellon Company, made up of the regiment's finest, bravest (and maddest in some cases) warriors.

I'm not much of a gamer, more of a painter/modeller, so my models may not always comply with rules, but I personally think that some of the conversions are worth it!

Whilst I originally started collecting back in 2001, I've only recently just picked up the hobby again, so my skills are a little rusty. Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated. I've uploaded a few pictures of some of my command elements, as well as my first major conversion project, the Laelaps Attack Bike.

The last few components for my next project arrived last week, so a P+M blog will be on it's way over the next few days I'm sure!

Greeting Glendalf, while my BA have never had the fortune of working with the Baal 72nd, I may need to give a call for help next time I deal with the greater good! I also went though the pictures and they look good and it's a cool concept. love to seem them in action!

Hi Dave,

Welcome to Dakka
