For mixed units of monsters and handlers (e.g. rat ogres, salamanders), when the handlers die, the monster has to take a monster reaction test right?

If the monster rolls 5-6 and gets frenzied, do they still have to take a stupidity test every turn?

1st. Rat ogres i believe don't follow the BRB rules as they have their own mixed unit rules in their book. But any unit that has the M&H rule in its profile (or FAQ) does take a test, sallies/razors, hydras, hellcannons OTTOMH.

2nd. No, you only suffer from stupidity if you a) rolled a 1-2 on the monster reaction or b) already have it (as a rule or from a spell/magic item).

Rat Ogres and Giant Rats with packmasters are both units in a weird place. They're not technically monsters and handlers, even Rat Ogres who are just a mixed unit of infantry and monstrous infantry ala Skrox units.

As HoverBoy said though, they do have special rules for when the handlers die. In the case of Rat Ogres, yes, you DO still have to make the stupidity check at the beginning of each of your turns, even if you're still frenzied. Stupidity checks at the start of the turn, Frenzy doesn't check until the Declare Charges phase.
