why you askin? Huh, Huh!?

I want to be able to play games of 40k at my store when I finish building my army. But their are so many weirdo's who go their on games night. I mean like people who are OBSESSED with 40k. They also act and look REALLY weird. I'm only a young teen, so I don't wanna be playin games at my store with some next weirdo. Any idea how I could avoid the stranger enthusiasts of the Hobby?

Find a Game is a useful tool.

I would suggest you don't completely rule out your local store. there are probably some older more mature gamers there too.

The store owner might be willing to organize a night for the more subdued gamers to play on if you ask him.

Sticking it out isn't a horrible idea either. you are in this game for the long haul so those formerly annoying kids will probably get a little less annoying.

and playing against someone you arn't exactly best buds with can be interesting. you will be motivated to beat him(or her )

And those 'wierdos' can have some great stories/advice for you. You play 40k. Congrats! you're a geek. Suck it up and try to join in the fun. If they're stinky neckbeards who are actually annoying, don't play them again. But by breaking down those barriers and just jumping in with different people will open your eyes a whole lot, and you will rarely regret it.

Pepper Spray is more entertaining, with a TAZER they just do Rigor-mortis impersonations instead of stumbling around crying like little babies, and you get multiple shots with it

Try going on different nights too. One night might be all the 7th graders and the next night is the old veterans. Just go on different nights. It may surprise you.

This.

On Saturdays and Sundays at my gaming store, we're full of little kids playing 40k for the first time.

Go on a work day, and it's much quieter, and full of veteran gamers.

So try going on a different day--if you've been going on weekends go on a weekday. If you've been going on weekdays, try a weekend. The people who show up will surprise you.

I am currently in secondary education, but I am luckily nothing like the annoying kids that you are describing. I would prefer to play with the manager to be honest, but I dunno if I can.

Most GW stores have beginners gaming sessions where a staff member is on hand to run the rules sides of the game. Try asking at your local store.

Dont assume the beginners games are full of teens! Im in my 30's and i attended a few just to refresh my knowledge of the game dynamics. I played a few games against some very disinterested teens who were rude and didnt listen. That really annoyed me..

You might check out a Non-GW store too.

Using a little Kids logic, he would probably go to a GW store if given the option. try out a store that isn't a GW. England isn't that big so it shouldn't be a problem finding a place nearby.
