Hi all,

It's a long time since I posted some of my work, but that doesn't mean I wasn't painting!
Yesterday I had my first tournament (doubles), and we somehow ended up placing second! This is the Lizardmen army I brought, please enjoy!

The scales are painted with a technique a learned from a friend of mine. It is extremely useful for small details such as scales.

First you paint the model in the basecoat of your liking, than give this a wash of your liking (in my case, a basecoat of Enchanted Blue and a wash of Leviathan purple.

Now comes the funny part: Paint every single scale in the colour of you HIGHLIGHT, yes this seems like doing it the wrong way around, but it isn't. (In my case this was Ice Blue)

Now paint every scale again with the colour of your basecoat (Enchanted Blue) but this time leaving a small edge with the colour of your highlight (Ice Blue).

This way impossible highlights are done really fast without much effort! I think I will make a tutorial soon!

Yep, a very good chance even! I have a lovely unit of Temple Guard and 20 Warriors to paint, when those are done (eventually..) I'll update
