If someone takes off 2 wounds on mordrak during 1 shooting phase.

do you roll 2 D3 at the end of the phase or 1?


the wording in the dex is....

"Whenever Mordrak suffers an unsaved wound, roll a D3 at the end of the phase"


this can be taken 2 ways.

1. mordrak takes a wound, i set aside a dice to roll at the end of the phase... he takes a 2nd wound, i set aside another dice.
because "whenever" mordrak suffers an unsaved wound...


2. he has suffered an unsaved wound, roll a D3 at the end of the phase... i allready got my D3 so im not going to put any more hits on him because i dont get another D3.

right now i am leaning towards # 1 because it says "an unsaved wound" and not "unsaved woundS"

Has he taken an unsaved wound? Yes? Put a D3 aside.

You put 1 D3 aside if he suffers 1 or 3.
I'd love it to be #1, as this significantly increases the chances of you getting all 3 extra terminators in.

But it says roll a D3. It does not say, for each unsaved wound roll a D3.

It's 2, as it does not say "for each unsaved wound taken roll a D3 at the end of the phase", therefore 1 D3 satisifies having taken 1 wound or having taken 3
