Im currently converting some Slaanesh raptors... and i wasnt sure whether to use chainswords or deamonette claws for the close combat weapons
the champions lightning claws will be made from the deamonette champion claws
....need opinions....aaaaand...GO!

Use the claws. It looks a lot cooler if painted well.

theyll be painted a metalic pink like on my deamon prince
(and possibly some purple chittin for variation)

Daemonette claws will probably be too small.

theyll fit well just for close combat weapons... theyre not being used to represent power weapons/fists so they dont have to be too outrageous

Maybe go for a little of both? Even having some models with a both a chainsword and claw for each hand would look great

ill definitely be mixing it up in my chaos marine squads... but i wanted to try and keep the raptors as similar as possible (while still making the unit unique) so its one or the other i think... keeping in mind that the champions lightning claws are going to be made from the deamonette champions claws...
