Hey all,

I've started a DE army recently and been painting away but....

This is my test mini the line highlighting has got a little neater since but i'm really struggling with the head.

The rest of the mini is fine and i'm happy with it, i'm getting better with my line highlighting also but i'm really struggling to get a decent result for the face?

Any Tips And/Or Pictures to help me would be good.

Will dry-brushing my highlight colours give me a better result for the head?

I'm going Necron Abyss -> Regal Blue -> Ice Blue -> Space Wolves Grey.

Just go back and clean up the highlights. Get the base color and work back towards the edge. The difference between a good painter and a great painter is how much cleanup they're willing to do. Drybrushing Dark Eldar won't work; their models aren't detailed in the right way for it.
