Subject: GW's "What's new today"youtube account/Games Day USA this weekend.
Currently they only have the TK release clip up on there, but according to the main site today
From the moment we get to Heathrow airport, we'll be filming little snippets of our journey and posting them onto the What's New Today Youtube Page. We'll then update it throughout the time that we're in Chicago, including live coverage of Games Day itself (where those of you who aren't there can see what you're missing out on). Make sure you subscribe now before we go, that way you won't miss out on any of the videos we upload.
Their trip being to the USA for the imminent Games Day over there.
It seems that Messrs. Troke -- back in the design studio note -- Goodwin and Peach are making the trip as well. I gather a few of the BL authors will be there too --
On July 30th, Black Library will be out in force at Games Day USA in Chicago, with Mike Lee, C.L. Werner, Gav Thorpe and Nick Kyme, and 50 copies of Nick’s Promethean Sun for sale.
And FW too. Should be a good day.
Any Dakkanauts going ?
... Aside from those running cool sounding tables/games anyway.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

I wonder if they'll talk about their failure-to-be WD Sisters codex?
Probably not, even if they're asked about it.... ah well. Hope we get SOME juicy tidbits. Won't be goin' there myself-- it's over 1,300 kilometers from where I live.

No, they kept a few aside for world-wide GD's just to watch the desperate fight over it.

That is okay, as long as they film it and put it on Youtube.

Yes, I am.
I don't think you understand how large the US of A is. That is the distance between the D/FW metrolpex and Chicago.

I think what he meant to say is "How dare you use the metric system!"
I would love to go, but I'm broke and live too far away

Heh. I used it so our friends across the pond (either pond) would get a better idea on just how far I'd have to travel.

I'm going, this will be my third time. Flying free, thanks Southwest and Chase
I think there is a lot to do and see, which is why I'm going again and probably will every time it's in Baltimore.

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Why not use Knots? Confuse everybody except sailors, pirates and aviators. If only I could take leave I would be there in a heartbeat. Mostly because I have had 2 Hydras on order from FW since June that still haven't shipped.

I was "invited" by GW when I emailed them about starting a club up where I go to school. But alas even though it is only half a days drive I have no intention of going.

Rented the truck, and started packing stuff up. Should be an interesting trip.
....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.
