Title says it all guys which 40k army has the most straight forward and simple play style?

Don't you see? My Master Tzeentch cares not which of the Great Powers of Chaos you serve. In the end, aren't the followers of the Blood God changing valiant warriors into headless corpses? Aren't the worshippers of the Lord of Flies changing strong, healthy bodies into rotting, diseased carcasses? Aren't the disciples of the Dark Prince changing stern, steadfast heroes into slaves to their own senses? Accept that Tzeentch has a place for all of us in his grand scheme, and be happy in the part you have to play.

Orks or Space Marines. Hard to say, honestly, but both are fairly simple.

Orks, nomatter their army build, they always end up just rushing things across the table. They aren't that good at demeching people though so I would personally stay away.

Orks...
I thought IG but that actually has target priority and LOS decisions.
Orks generally just charge... though you can get more complicated plays.

Orks. No matter what type of army you have, it all comes down to shooting blindly, charging forward and bashing your head against the enemy's until one falls.

Orks are very simplistic. 4 Attacks on the charge, virtually no way to kill AV14 out of CC and bad shooting generally means you'll end up rushing things.

I must agree with everyone else. Orks. Pretty much any problem orks have is solved by a Choppa to the face. Space Marines? Choppa to the face. Monsterous Creatures? Choppa to the face. Mother in law? Choppa to the face.

I'm told Space Wolves play themselves.

Otherwise, orks.

Orks are pretty simple and strightforward to play. Run forward and bash with choppa. But even though they are simple they are amusing to play too.

Even the vehicles are simple to play. Shoot some large blasts, Tank Shock, unload boyz, let the pain go on.

Orks.

3 units of 30 sluggas. 3 units of 30 shootas. Sprinkle your Nobs with a dash of Power Klaws and bosspoles. Add a KFF Mechboy for some zest. Liberally add some units that can outflank.

Then, watch your opponents face as he realizes that he's going to have to waste a good 100 Orks with a 4+ cover save before they get across the board.

Orks, Orks, Orks, Orks....

As stated pretty much spamming Slugga boys'll give you a half decent force just through wait of numbers. Add a mech in their with a kustom force field and suddenly everyone has a 4+ save. If you want to add a bit variety then you may want to a add the odd deff dread or killa kan.

...Oh yeah, and Space Marine's-being the new guy's army....and having recieved such special attention from a certain GW codex writer- can usually turn out a half decent win with even the most inane tactics-ie playing blood angels or black templars? Just run your guys across the board like a horde of Orks; sticking a land raider full of vets, or spamming jump pack vets when necessarry, and cherish the hate on your opponents face because of the sheer cheese.

The 4th ed armoured company's list was a fun one as it allowed you to take ridiculous number of tanks in one list. This meant that in smaller games you could simply let out a volley of a couple of Battle Cannons a turn have your enemy running for cover, whilst you charge your tanks across the board to tank shock them off the table (safe in the knowledge that feth all could damage you). The current guard codex allows you to do this too, but still...this requires at least some amout of brain power to pull of effectively. ^^

Orks, no matter what you get, its either sitting back and unloading into the other army turn after turn (lootas), or just rushing with everything else into melee.

I'm going to agree that orks are up there and probably the most straightforward... heck with ym green tide 1750 lis tI have 180 choppa boyz... once the opponents see the lis tthey usually ar a ta loss for how to hanlde that many models.

other mentions though would be:

IG ... sit back and shoot... hoep they dont' get in cc

vanilla marines use the same rules as orks only instead of chop the shooty ones and shoot the choppy ones the chansword the shooty ones and bolter the choppy ones... but with better armor

I disagree. I think Necrons are by far the most straightforward.

If you play Orks, you have to worry about things like moving forward, and rolling lots of dice.

But, with Necrons, all you have to do it sit there and watch your army Phase Out. It's much simpler.

The above post is satire. Necron players, please don't take it at face value and get upset.
