Subject: Dark eldar venom

Hi, im looking for some cheaper alternatives to buying 5 venoms and was wondering what some peoples opinions on that would be.
i was contemplating using the raider jet bikes, but wasnt sure of the size difference as ive never seen any new DE models (havnt played in a while and am going to buy DE soon)

If you have any of the old raiders you can make some nice conversions with them and the eldar vyper. That would be cheaper but not much. Reavers are about the same length but the width is pretty far off.
Edit: The new venoms do look nice though.

No. Not even close. Have you even seen a Venom? The cheapest way to get a Venom is to buy the Venom kit. There is no cheaper option.
There are MORE expensive options, though.

I have to agree, my 1 st venom I converted I used a viper and some left over parts from my raiders / ravagers, mainly the sails and gang
planks. I have seen some convesions using reaver jet bikes and platic card, but they did not look like they could transport 5 models nor did they look like they could fly..... Now that gw has official new models, I have chosen to use theirs instead of mine for simplicities sake, as well as cost.
