I have given up with the standard dark colours, and was wondering what other suitable alternatives could be used?

Something different to the common dark schemes, but not too ridiculous, any ideas?

Painting Kabal of the Flayed Skull can be quite fun, and they're not too dull while retaining that sinister Dark Eldar look.

Tried looking through here yet?

I'm painting all of my Dark Eldar as Harlequins, but perhaps that would count as ridiculous in this case?

Or google the dark city forum and look over there.
