If you're wanting to get a head start on painting, probably anything plastic is safe from being replaced.

GW web site still shows the Ogre Kingdoms battalion box as available. Am I missing something?

I'd wait for the new book.

With all the talk of Mammox's and Sabre Tooth Tigers, things may change significantly to make anything you buy now superflous.

I'm glad i got the battalion back in the spring. Still not assembled as I want to wait and see what the new options will be with the new book. Try buying some bulls if you can find some cheap online I guess.

It'd be interesting if an all gnoblar horde army became legal, something like big gut and little gut magic the way orcs and gobbos do. A whole army of 2 point models mwa haha.

You could get a thousand models in a 2.5 list and still have a few hundred to spend on characters....genius

I think you should still be able to get some good deals via eBay. Prices may go back up once the new models hit.
