I heard about this site at Game Empire in Pasadena, and I thought I'd check it out. Been playing 40k for about 6 months, and I really enjoy the 'hobby' aspect of the game (building/customizing/painting). I have a growing army of orphan orks, being that all but one of my models was bought used. The game-play was a little over-whelming at first, but as I'm getting to know my army better it is getting more fun every time I play. I'm hoping to be able to pick up a few hints/tricks about ork armies in painting, army lists, strategies, and rules.

Whoa, a 40k player in Pasadena? Ork player too? AWESOME.
I've been to Game Empire, that place is huge compared to all the other gaming stores I've been to. They used to have a GW in the Santa Anita Mall but it closed down, leaving Game Empire to be the closest place to buy 40k stuff (as far as I know). Maybe one of these days I'll catch you in Game Empire (I am in Pasadena pretty much every weekend). I'll be the 6 foot tall chick with orks. Welcome to Dakka!
