Probably some harsh coding and more important things to do first but what are thoughts on having 'Recommended' threads.

This may involve adding 'Tags' to threads as 'Subject' headers may have typos or be badly titled. Basically the idea is a page where you can view live threads with similar 'Tags' to those you have 'Subscribed' to and/or 'Exalted.' I guess this would also control the 'Exalt' function and stop overuse which i believe is a concern you have had.

Anyway it would be a lot of work and such and i know you're busy people! Just a thought.

A button to 'hide' and 'unhide' other users posts in a P&M blog. In other words you could swap to a condensed blog with just the OP posts.

Heres a good one, a notification of how many posts have been updated on Subscribed and Exalted tabs. In easier to understand terms, almost exactly what happens when you have unread private messages.

What do you think? I haven't had any responses yet, haha!

Tags are something we might add, but I want to see how well they work on other sites first (some have it planned) as people generally stop using them pretty quickly and they just end up as wasted effort.

Folders are not happening as the number of people who would benefit does not outweigh the effort involved adding them.

OP-only posts in a p&m blog is considered, but ultimately low priority as you can just search by username to skip through a thread to those posts easily enough at the moment (albeit with lots of extra clicks).

Notification of how many posts are updated wont happen as the extra load on the database would be too high.

Did i hear there was talk of Instant Chat? Sounds like a bad idea to me but my related suggestion is an edit to the mail system.
How about grouped conversations in private messages? Its becoming ever more popular with modern messaging systems and is proving to be a much more effective way then the traditional methods.

Again just a thought, eventually there will be a good idea that sticks.
