Interesting. I've not played urban war/metropolis, but I recently got some of the Gladiator figs painted up and they are quite nice.

Never quite got into the games, but it's been good to see the Void/UrbanWar/Metropolis universe hang on for as many years as it has.

The Legionaries first came to my attention as counts-as Arbites. I really like a lot of their miniature line and am excited about getting a hold of some new rules. Unfortunately, I doubt there will be anyone around me who actually plays!

Interesting to see them still alive and kicking

Agreed!

They have a lot of interesting miniatures and a lot of... odd ones too!

It will be nice to be able to get them easier now.

That's a very shiny cover... I must abmit to being far more interested in their miniatures than their rules, though.

I felt the same way. I bought the original void plastic junkers to use along side my GW arbites. Sold them and the aribites a few years back, and just recently bought a bunch of void junkers and Urban War Gladiators to build an army around. I like the Void and Urban War incarnations, but it must be noted that the UrbanWar/Metropolis figs have a whole additional level of detail and are a touch larger than the Void figs.

That's the rub. Fortunately my gaming group likes generic rule sets, so my Gladiators and Junkers got some action last week using WarEngine/Shockforce facing off against some Terminator type Robots (from Paladium) and some IG.
