Hi all, new to the forum but not to warhammer and painting. Started back in the day when 1st edition Warhammer came out. Have collected various army's over the years but them sold them on. Stopped painting and modelling a good few years ago but have allways dabbled. Now kids are old enought to be interested I have started again. I have the beginings of a Black Templar, Imperial Guard and traitor guard army, but have put them to one side due to these fantastic new Dark Eldar mini's. Here's mt first colour test, didn't like the black with dayglow edging so went with something else.

Going to weaponry black, and gold/silver for the metalics on the figure.

heya dd,

Welcome to Dakka! The model is coming along, though I would consider a wash to help bring the colors together a little and add some shading to the armor lines. Maybe a Devlan Mud or Gryphonne Sepia.

I do however have to move this to the regular M&P forum as the showcase is for finished models only ( model and base painted ).

Again, welcome and hope you enjoy your posting here

A wash would work wonders as grey_death said. But other than that it looks really good.
