It's a large amount of FineCast stuff that's on restock, along with some pewter I didn't expect to be.

I do not, I would assume it is though. Supposedly FineCast is only being produced in the UK for now so that they can control the flow a bit better and monitor for issues.

Don't know. The entry on the website is for the metal one though, so I'd guess not.

Here's another bit of news that seems to have fallen through the cracks. Several months ago GW apparently shut down their GW Shanghai operations. The items that were manufactured in China are now all being made in various other places. For example, Citadel Paint is now manufactured in France.

The best thing about this news to me concerns the books. The book binder they switched to a few years ago in China was terrible with a high rate of defective binding issues. Hopefully the days of better quality, longer lasting books are upon us.

Wow GW gave you some information without it being smuggled out or printed in a white dwarf,you must feel very blessed.

Agreed. I just wish I had waited/known that the Techmarine was going to be done in resin as now I have a metal one and enough Servitors for a huge retinue.

@dj narcosis--they've been doing this, pretty regularly, of late whenever something goes out of stock.

That's cool then,i find there new information policy insufferable,how they thought that keeping their customers in the dark so much would help is beyond me.

I noticed Sicarius is on the list. I ordered him the other day (tuesday IIRC) and had confirmation that the order was dispatched. Was I just in time, or is this not including the UK?

I misread a little, I thought the pieces listed were pewter ones being discontinued until failcast release.

Since it was an email from GW-US and only referenced "our" warehouse, likely GW-UK is excluded.

I've placed a couple orders with GW recently to get ahold of some metal stuff.
Both times they sent me a list of stuff that was out, and removed the items from my order.
The order was also delayed about 10 days from when I placed to when it shipped.

I am becoming very unhappy with GW Mail Order.
The only thigns I go there for are stuff shops can't have, and now I have to wait 2 weeks to actually get it.
Its doubly annoying when everything in my cart says it ships in 1-2 days.
GWMO used to be the most reliable facet of their retail, now its as bad as Forge World.

@Kan did you remove the LOTR items from your list? I don't see any in there.
Because I've tried to get Isengard Commanders for about 6 weeks and it keeps getting pulled out.

Yeah, I asked them about why they delayed the order(which I placed on July 25th) until now. The answer was they called their shops to see if any had the items in question, and if they did they'd have it mailed out from there.

I wouldn't say GWMO is bad or on par with FW. They're reminding me, however, of my debacle with a company I will not currently name.

Are stores still restricted to 3 of each finecast model per order? Just wondering if production has caught up to demand since May.
