Well i did not see any threads regarding this but it appears that we have a new Twisted Metal game in the works.

From what i can tell with a few other videos i saw you play as either Sweet Tooth, Mr. Grim, and there is one other harlequin looking girl whose name i don't know. Then you choose from about 16 or so different vehicles. each character has a different storyline.

stuff that i know is confirmed:
online play
co-op (split-screen/ local multi player)
Sweet Tooths ice-cream truck can transform into a flying mech for a limited amount of time
You can fly helicopters (as shown in the trailer above)

Anyone else excited for this? Or know anything that i have not put on here.

I've heard about it, and I think I may have played one of them once. This PS3 only or for the Xbox, too?

Going by the advert it looks like a ps3 exclusive.

Twisted Metal has always been on playstation, and seeing as though the developers for it are the same as the ones behind God of War I think it will be PS3 only. But hey you guys have Halo and Gears of War.

Anyways, I've seen some gameplay for it and the gamemode I saw was a let down. My friend described it to me first and made it seem utterly amazing, so that may be a biased factor.

To each there own mate, personly i have loved what i have seen for this but then again i loved every Twisted Metal game that i picked up so i am a bit biased aswell lol

My main worry is that it could go the same way as Duke Nukem Forever by giving a bunch of hype and looking fantastic and then come release it is a big let down (to me at least it was )

I hate that it's still PS exclusive, I grew up with those games!

CANT WAIT!!! aww man, its been so long, I think I still have the originals sitting in my closet...
