Okay, so I'm feeling particularly daring and am working on two figures for Pathfinder/DnD characters for personal use. I'm using the Epic Vlad figure from Privateer Press for one, and the Precursor Knight Officer for the other.

Now I'm already trying to figure out how to chop the heads off both of them without doing too much damage to the figures; while I think I have that settled I'm coming to a dilemma for finding bits to use in their stead (to answer the inevitable question: Vlad is a bit too vampy for the intended use, and I'm not crazy about the helmet on the precursor).

Does anyone know where I can find some decent head bits? Preferably without helmets. I'm looking for something close-cropped or bareheaded in one case, and medium to long for the other. I've looked at PP's parts catalog, but sadly the majority of their heads are non-human or warjacks (one of the druid heads would probably work but I'm not sure of sizing again).

Any tips, comments, experience, or websites to check out would be greatly appreciated: this is my first major conversion of any kind and I want to make sure I don't irreparably damage either model.

GW has some nice head bits... and I may be wrong, but so does Forge World. If neither of these work for you... you may just want to invest some money in green stuff, and model your own head exactly to your liking. Hope this helped.
