I have defended GW sprays for a while, they go on smooth and even. But from this last can, nearing the end of it the paint was kind of grey. Has this happened to anyone else? Keep in mind I am religious about shaking, warming the can and clearing the nozzle when finished spraying. I don't think it was user error, but it could of been.

Ummmm I never warm my cans, and the paint always comes out black. So I think that may be it.... if not then I have never heard of a faulty spray can before.

By warming I mean setting the can in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes. It's a pretty common practice and I doubt that was the cause.
It was nearing the end of the can, I'm wondering if it was just running out of pigment.

Still, it seems odd that the colour changed. Perhaps it was a poorly mixed batch, and it became separated somehow?

If it was just near the end of the can, I would suspect that you weren't shaking the can enough earlier on, so it wasn't mixing properly.

I'd go with A, you didn't shake it well enough (try shaking again after warming) or B, defective can.
