if i have a rohan warrior with throwing spear, can i use the throwing spear in combat as a normal spear?

I think you can throw it in combat when you have charged but you cant use it as a normal spear in combat

you cannot... but when i gamemaster a game i usually give the option for them to choose at the beginning of the game if they have either throwing or normal spears, b/c i just think that should have been an option in the book... lol

technically no, but if we are going to fudge the rules a little bit the Rohan Spears are certaintly thick enough to be used as spears(background info on Rohan says that the spears are designed to be used as Lances/spears and throwing spears all at the same time)

A House rule saying that Rohan throwing spears are also usable as regular spears is certaintly a fair change.
