just as is says in the title, I've got an idea

I plan on buying the collector's edition, which is really cool, but doesn't come with any new skins, (plus, you can only get it directly from THQ which gives you a powers sword and free copy of darksiders..)
however, if you pre-order from gamestop you get the *black templars* skin and space wolves skin
pre-order from best buy, and you get the *iron warriors* skin and emperor's children skin
*I want these A LOT*

now here's my idea, I pre-ordered mortal kombat from gamestop and rather than giving me a little placard with the code for my pre-order bonus (which I've seen before) they gave my my receipt and my code was on there

now here's my idea, I can pre-order a game from all the mentioned retailers, and on opening day, I get my games. I open my collector's edition and ONLY my collector's edition, and leave the other two games unopened. Could I just use the codes on the receipt and return the games?

That's just... wrong...

The skins really aren't that big of a deal.

The "Iron Warriors and Emperor's Children" skins are really just the same as the skins that will be in the game, with a smidge more detailing.

The Black Templar and Space Wolf skins are the same. They have a unique armor 'piece' that will likely be replicable normally.

Its' all free stuff anyways. Although in some cases you do have to pay for the preorder which you don't get back (Usually $5) or a restocking fee. You could also just wait a month when they try to get more money out of you by offereing all this bonus skins as DLC for $2 each.

you could do this, and pay $5 per pre-order, or you could wait till DLC, and receive them ALL for $5....

I wish people would check the damn Space Marine threads, I posted the information in there.

In an interview, Otto Otterson or whatever the hell is name was, said that all pre-order bonuses will be made into DLC, with the exception of the Powersword.
