I have playtested this army once, and was not too disappointed in its performance for its first time out, at least against Black Templars...

Belial, thunder hammer, company banner
Chaplain, meltabombs
Deathwing, assault, cyclone missile launcher
Deathwing, assault, cyclone missile launcher
Deathwing, assault cannon
Deathwing, assault cannon
Deathwing, assault cannon
Ravenwing, 6 bikes, attack bike w/multimelta, land speeder with heavy bolter and assault cannon, sgt power sword, 2 meltaguns
Land Raider Crusader
Land Raider Crusader
Predator, twin-linked lascannons, heavy bolter sponsons

Drop the assault cannons and get more cyclone missile launchers. Since this is an assault list losing the extra claws or hammer per squad can hurt.

I would also drop the power sword on the sergeant and give him a fist. If the Ravenwing squad gets into combat they are pretty screwed anyway; however, the fist gives them a chance against a dread or MC.

I would give someone in Belial's Command Squad the Apothecary upgrade. The FNP can be invaluable against massed small arms fire.

To get the points to play with different upgrades I would drop the twin-linked lascannons from the pred and give it an autocannon. I know that with the LC you can have the pred fill a dual role, but there are better ways to get anti-tank (i.e. take a standard kit land raider).

These are just my opinions and can be taken for what they're worth.

Wasn't really looking to make the Predator a dual-threat, just spent the last couple points I had on heavy bolters.

The assault cannon deathwing is there for the deep strike/deathwing assault/reserves guys. Since they can't assault out of deep strike anyway, I put assault cannons to weed out the rear-ranks, and possibly some anti-tank.

The assault loadouts (I forgot to put in) were Thunder Hammers along with Belial and lightning claws with the chaplain. The storm shields make Feel No Pain kinda redundant, and with the extra attack granted by the banner, they get a lot of hits in. The chaplain grants a re-roll for missed hits to the lightning claw guys, so these would be my horde control unit.

I'd argue that TH/SS terminators are the best place to put FNP. The two aren't redundant at all, since any wound that you take the SS 3++ against, you wouldn't be able to take FNP against, and any wound you can take FNP against you would be using your 2+ regular save and not the 3++.

The key, though, is that currently the best way to deal with TH/SS terminators is not to shoot them with heavy weapons (as they have a 3+ so it's unlikely you have enough of those to kill the squad), but to torrent them down with small arms fire / weight of attacks. Giving them FNP makes them twice as resilient against small arms as they were previously, so they become that much more difficult to kill. It also lets you take on squads that rely on huge numbers of attacks (Khorne Berserkers, Genestealers, Wyches, etc) and laugh off their attacks, surviving to swing with your thunder hammers.

As creator said, FnP is completely different from stormshield. You're current save scenario is 2+, FnP OR 3++
The apothecary is there to make your 6 man squad immune to small arms.

Also, give everyone CML. The double frag shot completely neuters assault cannon's anti-hoarde ability while 2 kraks are superior against MEQs and armor 10-12. Side shots I've found very easy to get since you're deepstriking and can easily split your army to shoot at both sides of the vehicle.

Imo I think your list looks pretty sweet but I would change 4 things:
Remove Chaplain
Change predator to auto/lasSponson or ditch it (more synergy and the whole, all 3 of your weapons are primary weapons and whatever bolters shoot at, TL lascannon will be a total waste against and vice versa)
Add in an apothecary with belial's squad
Give everyone CML

The last part will be a bit hard if you don't have CMLs lying around :(

I agree, CML are far btter then those foolsih Assault cannons. I used Assault cannons all the time, but I never could rend with them and they just dind;t do anything for me. Now I have been using CML and they are beast. I never really worried about infantry that much as when I get there I will shred them. So the CML is there to kill those pesky tanks or APC's.

And Apothecary is a must, trust me. Put Belial in that squad and you have a tough cookie to break.

I might also take out the Troop speeder and turn it into a typhoon..More missles!..cheaper too. Saves you 25 pts.

Ya i agree. Our local Deathwing player moved over to CML the last few months and never looked back, there are no reasons to use an assault cannon over CML, none...

Pretty proud of these guys! Already played two games with them (against a very difficult Ard Boyz-tested Black Templars) and narrowly lost a game and scored a draw on the second. The second game was also using one of the Ard Boyz scenarios from this year. So, adjustments aside, I think this is going to work just fine!

Why upload ur list if you are not going to listen to people trying to help you out? If you dont have the models for it thats a different story but CML are the best thing you can give terminators now IMHO

Rather than critique your old list which was terrible, I'm just going to give you my 2500 Dark Angels list. This is, in my opinion, one of the strongest 2500 point lists out there.

Belial, Lightning Claws - 130

Dreadnought, Venerable, Multi-Melta - 145

Deathwing Terminators, 4 x TH/SS, Chainfist, Cyclone Missile Launcher - 240

Predator, Heavy Bolter Sponsons - 95
Predator, Heavy Bolter Sponsons - 95
Predator, Heavy Bolter Sponsons - 95
Total: 2500

18 Missile Launcher shots.
3 Multi-Meltas.
18 Heavy Bolters shots.
30 TH/SS Terminators.
9 vehicles, 3 of which are Venerable.

Nice and simple, without any superfluous upgrades or expensive vehicles. Typhoons hide behind the Predators, Dreadnoughts give cover while the Terminators advance to the midfield and kill everything.
