Hey Everyone,

The other day I received six DKoK Death Riders in the mail. Last night when I was putting them together I noticed that one of the flags that go on the hunting lance was missing. Now, I'm not sure if it was simply missing when I got it, or if I lost it by accident.

Either way, I now have a bit of a dilemma. What do I do?

Here are the options as I see it.

1. Put the hunting lance on without the flag
2. Try and sculpt a flag from scratch
3. Replace the sergeants lance with his sword (I have an extra sword)

Or, if you guys have another idea.

My main concern is that I don't want to mess with anything that would create a problem on the battlefield. For example, if I use a sword instead of the lance, I would be cranky if people kept arguing that I get one less attack or something.

Anyway, any advice would be awesome.

If you want to give your sergeant a power weapon then give him the sword-it'll make him stand out a little-, if not just use the lance and either sculpt a flag onto it (if you have the confidence and skills to), or add some other items onto it to signify that this guy's different from your average trooper-ie being Death Korps the assorted bones from the Empire Flaggelants would do well, or you could just use the odd Imperial emblem or aquila wing from something like the Imperial Guard Vehicle Upgrade Sprue, or just a load of greenstuffed purity seals blowing in the wind. The lance gives him +2 strength and a power weapon on the charge, whereas the sword means he'll have a power weapon on every turn subsequently (handy if they get bogged down in combat), so if your being tactical the Lance is the better option (Rought Riders are a bit of a one trick poney with their new rules, so you want them to have as much punch as possible on the turn they charge, and kind of assume that at best they'll harrass the enemy if they're still living afterwards)-ie full sized squad armed with hunting lances if chosen at all.

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for all your input. Yes, I could have contacted Forge World as they have been excellent in the past with replacing missing parts, but I really wanted to get these done.

I am still considering a sword, but I did this up this morning and was wondering what you guys thought.
