As the title says, just asking because in the Grey knight codex their is a picture of a couple of units in terminator armour disembarking from a gunship, but last i knew, they could only be transported in land raiders?

There is no rule stating that Terminators can only embark in Land Raiders. There are a number of vehicles that Terminators are prohibited from entering. Any vehicle not on that list is OK for the Terminators to embark on (space and specific exceptions permitted).

Terminators can fit in anything that doesn't explicitly disallow them (such as rhinos). So yes they can pile into a stormraven.

if you have the GK codex, check the Storm Raven entry for any rule not allowing it in; ex. the IG codex has a rule against Ogryn's getting into the craft because they're too big and bulky for the Valkyrie, as well Ogryn's hate flying etc.

In the GK codex models in terminator armor can even hitch a ride in an inquisitorial chimera. They are only restricted from embarking on rhinos and razorbacks if I remember correctly.

They are allowed, they just take up 2 spaces of transport capacity due to the terminator armour.
