The wraithlord has by its stat line 2 base attacks. Does anything indicate that it has 2 ccw or 2 dccw thus granting it a third attack? A local redshirt swore that it could get up to 4 and there is nothing that I see that would grant this. It is a MC and therefore I think the DCCW is flat out, as it isn't a walker. I could see how each fist could be considered a ccw but can't find any justification for that ruling.
Thanks Dakka!

You're reading it right. Two attacks.

When it charges into CC it gets 3.
The confusion comes in that the Wraithlord can be equipped with a sword, and 2 shuriken pistols. which on other models would count as 2 close combat weapons. Thus giving it an extra attack.
An FAQ from GW would clear this up.
Good question.

Good question.
This supports the redshirt's opinion a little better, but still it doesn't list the wraithsword as a CCW. I still think the bugger is stuck with 2 attacks.

shuriken pistols? Shuriken catapults ... they're assault weapons so no bonus attacks (even if they're the right size for pistols)

You have taken the first step to wisdom - look things up yourself when redshirts claim to know something without showing you the actual rules. Game stores are often centered around some oldtimer who "knows the rules" since he's played from Rogue Trader forward. Sadly it also means he has five rules editions to get confused by and misremember.
Wraithlords had two power fists in the previous codex, or was it as far back as 2nd Edition? These days they don't.

Nailed it, the current codex is a 3rd edition one... I'd like to see if the 2nd ed had dual PF.
YES...
Eldar Dreadnoughts (2nd edition wraithlords) were str 5 with dual PF. WINNER!

Monir nitpick, but the current Codex was introduced towards the end of 4th edition.

Like Insaniak said, the current codex is a 4th ed one.
3rd ed Eldar Wraithlords had two ccw, so could gain the +1 A.
2nd ed, it was still a dreadnought (just like a marine or ork dread) and still used a living pilot.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

Actually, it was only in Rogue Trader that Eldar Dreadnoughts had living pilots.
