So I am building a 2000 point GK / Inquisitor list, and filled out all my troop and elite slots on the FOC, but still have points leftover. As Inquisitorial Henchmen Warbands "do not use up a force organization slot" (quoted from the GK codex), can I legally take another Henchman Warband, and if so, how would I classify it on my force list?

Depends on how your list is set up.

If I recall correctly you can have 1 warband per inquisitor.

If you have room for an extra warband, they would be a troops unit, without taking up a troops slot on the FoC.

Ok, I have coteaz which allows me to take up Henchmen Warbands as troops. My list already has 3 Elites and 6 Troops (Elites = 2x Dreads and 1x Purifiers; Troops = 2x GKSS and 4x Henchmen Warbands). Even with all 3 Heavy slots filled I have nearly 120 points left. I would like to take a meltagun Warband. Can I do this, considering that Inquisitorial Henchmen Warbands "do not use up a force organization slot"? Not looking for an excuse to break the rules, just looking for clarification. Thanks

Ok, found the answer in the GK FAQ. Apparently, when Coteaz is taken, Henchmen Warbands become troops choices and DO count in the FOC, and additionally, cannot be taken in the Elites slots.

Q. Taking Inquisitor Coteaz in your force turns
Henchman Warbands into troops choices. Does this
mean that they take up a force organisation slot and
can no longer be taken as an elites choice? (p45)
A. Yes to both questions

Be happy with 6 warbands.
