Hi all

Just finished a converted Techamrine. I did the conversion about a year ago from some spares - a plastic Lascannon, Terminator Assault Cannon arm, a Meltabomb and Missile Launcher 'head' - didn't take long IIRC. I was going to use it as a Master of the Forge but decided to paint it and throw it into my store. I knew I had some spare Servo-skulls lying around so decided to bundle them in with him - thus the Grey Knight paint job...

Pretty darn cool! Although that helmet/mask smile looks a little creepy, but I suppose its supposed to be decorative and or intimidating.

That looks awesome, I really like the ax.

Good job there dude, I too, am liking the axe. The servo skulls are pretty sweet too.

can we get a better picture of the conversion hammer? Looks really nice. but we cant see 90% of what you did.

Very cool, one of the few GK techs I have seen though. Wish they were a bit more useful

I dunno, I think they can be quite useful - especially in larger games or Apocalypse, and servo-skulls are aways pretty handy to have if you're a GK player

Well here's the Conversion Beamer. The Lascannon was used for the backpack and tubing, as well as for the 'coiled' bit. The assault cannon arm was from the Dark Angels upgrade sprue. I added the melta bomb as I felt it needed something else at the time.

An awesome concept...

Now if I can find a way to do soemthing similar for my Iron Priest on TWC

Really nice. The Beamer looks like it has a bit of weight to it as well.


I used a beamer on a bike in an apoc game the other day. really handy as you can move him to keep the magic 48" away to get the S10 Ap1 shot off. Claimed a few tansk for suck a little unit. well worth the points.......IF you can keep it at long range.
