Wow, that's really good, you've certainly achieved your goal of Table-top standard, perhaps even exceeded it. Well Done.

overbrush the gold with shining gold then wash with devlan mud when dry

cloth and seals are dheneb stone then washed with diluted devlan mud

I think I'm gonna copy you! I was doing a blue wash over the Platemail primer on my guys, but the black looks much better.

The blue wash does make the nemesis weapons look quite cool , also dont forget to thin your black wash down or they go quite dark

I think I would do that same Devlan Mud wash over the red to give it a tiny bit of depth. That and drilling out the barrels would really make these impressive minis for so little time spent. If you wanted to go to the next level you could do some highlights with Mithril Silver, but that would defeat the point of speedpainting, wouldn't it!

I agree with you brother SRM , my plan was to get them onto the table as quick as possible then after the army was done I could re-visit and spruce em up a bit.

I just want to bump this thread again, I'm going to be stealing this process and abandoning what I was doing for my GK. Would like to see more pics of your army!

Sweet, I may have to steal this as well! Quick question, let's say I mess up applying the gold or the red or the stone and get it on the silver armor, what GW paint could I use to cover up my mistake? Boltgun? Chainmail? And how close does it match?

I think Mithril Silver is a match, but don't quote me on that.

Not sure bout that Stavkat , maybe boltgun chain mail with no wash or Mithrill with a bit of watered down badab black.

Also just finished assembling my Dreadknight and paladins are due to be assembled tonight

What is boltgun chainmail? Boltgun is darker than Chainmail, I suppose I can just spray part of a piece of sprue and paint some all of these silver colors next to them to see for myself. Because I know I am going to mess up painting detail somewhere!

Awesome! I did a similar conversion for my Librarian, but I used the storm bolter that he came with, and a nemesis warding stave instead of his staff.

Very nice!! What color is the heraldry shield? Did you use the same method as you did on the termies?

Lovely for such a simple method.

But I think you should use a bit of a highlight on that librarians flesh. He looks a bit, er, washed.

I know this thread is a little old, but it's not too old, right?

masterjock, these look great for how quickly and easily your method is. I have just one question, how did you paint the Land Raider? Obviously you used Army Painter again, but what about washes? I've had issues with washes on vehicles before.

Also, any more updates of your army?

The wash on the Land raider was just half badab black and half water. It does take a bit of work to get it even though.

Since I stopped posting on this Ive painted up a Draigo and a Techmarine which is the army finished now and ive moved on to other stuff.
