Lets say I have a squadron of Leman Russ BT that shoots a Rhino full of Marines.
The first Russ wreck the rhino and the Marines disembark.

Can the second one shoot the disembarked marines or not?

A squadron is supposed to all shoot at the same unit sooo is a dedicated transport part of the same unit as the troops it's transporting or not?
If you take a transport from the Heavy Support does it make a difference since its not a dedicated transport?!

A transport and it's contents are two separate unit's in the game. I am now familiar with squadrons but generally a unit must all fire together at the same time, thus you could not destroy the transport then hit the contents after they spill out.

Melchiour hit it right on the head. In fact you should roll to hit with all the LR's first then roll pen and damage. If they were separate units then you could target the squad assuming you destroyed the vehicle with the previous one.

It make some sence and then it doesn't make sence... IMO thinking in real life if I had a transport to destroy I would not shoot everything at once and try to eliminate the troops in it.. but again this is not real life lol so..

It makes squadron sooo innificient in combat...

I mean I play eldar and eldar tanks could not destroy a DE transport if their life depended on it (BS 3 seems to be something that will never hit for me....) and even twin-linked doesn't seem to help.. but this is only for me Ive seen plenty of Eldar player exploding tanks..

It seems like something idiotic then to have a squadron of 3 War Walker equiped with different weapon if the 1st has bright lances to penetrate and explode a transport and the second one equiped with a scatter laser cant shoot the troops..

Firstly, you should re-read the definition of a unit on P3 - this is essential to proper rules understanding.

Secondly, yes - squadrons are inefficient in a variety of ways. They're also more vulnerable to shooting and assault. However, this is the price you pay for being able to take lots.

Well, that's completely true, which is why you must outfit your walkers appropriately. The same could be said for Devestators or Long Fangs when choosing their big guns. Taking a 24" ranged multimelta in a squad equipped with 48" missile launchers is inefficient as you'll miss out on one guys shooting most of the time.

Eldar Warwalkers do have the benefit of mass shots with scatterlasers. Shooting 24 times at BS 3 nets 12 hits, of which 2 should glance and 4 should penetrate vs. AR 10 with S6. That should definitely be a dead transport. Wave Serpents on the other hand have a much lower volume of fire: 4 shots with TL SL and 3 shots with the chin cannon net 3 SL hits and maybe 2 hits with the cannon. You'll likely get 2 pens (one from each gun) and maybe a glance, which should be enough to take a raider without flickerfields down. Now we're talking straight mathammer here, statistical averages, so of course your actual result are going to vary.

To solve your problem of one squadron/unit shooting at a transport to unload the units inside, make sure to have an anti-infantry unit in range of the transport to shoot the gooey insides to oblivion. If you're running war walkers, try one squad with BL/EML and one squad with SL's.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Simply Both the LRBT will fire all weapons at 1 target as theyre a squadron, all dmg/pens/glances are resolved at the same time as once again squadron rules.

I find 2x LRBT HB spons and HB Hull are cheap and highly effective at killing most everything
